NELUMERA: NELUMbo, nucifERA.
NELUMBO NUCIFERA refers to an aquatic plant, a sacred lotus that grows through mud and fully blooms into a clean and fragrant flower.
In Buddhist art, this symbolises self-awareness & enlightenment through the purification of the mind & spirit. The lotus represents the spiritual path and the obstacles we go through in order to blossom beautifully into the liberation of all suffering.
We all have our own unique power to reach for the stars and to collect moments of bliss. Some of us are just not aware of it (yet) or simply do not know where to start due to countless hurdles.
